Teachers’ Day 2013: ESOL - April 20, 2013

.The Finger Lakes RAEN's Teachers’ Day 2013 features two all-day workshops in order to provide in-depth professional development experiences with experts in their fields. Susan Pittman-Shetler and Bonnie Goonen of E-Learning, Inc., and Dr. Margo DellaCarpini will provide information about research, best practices, and hands-on activities to participants.

Margo DelliCarpini is an Assistant Professor of TESOL at Lehman College, The City University of New York, where she teaches courses leading to the M.S.E.D. in TESOL and continues her research in second language literacy development and TESOL teacher collaboration. In addition, Dr. DelliCarpini has worked as an Adult Literacy Educator, and has taught ESL writing and oral/aural development courses at the college level. She is the first editor of the electronic TESOL Journal (TJ), published quarterly. Dr. DelliCarpini is also a column editor and author for the "Success with ELLs" column in the English Journal and has published extensively.
