The SMART (Skills to Make Adults Ready to Succeed) curriculum is composed of an academic core curriculum of reading, math and writing. This curriculum may be used for Adult Basic Education (ABE) students with a reading grade level equivalent 4 – 7 and may also be used as a nonacademic resource. The program is currently being moved from a homework packet program to an online home study program. This training will cover the traditional paper-based materials as well showcase the new online SMART program. This training must be completed every three years.

For more information on SMART, please go to http://www.acces.nysed.gov/aepp/academic-curriculum

Because this training is held in a computer lab, there is limited seating.
